Maybe you have decided that you want to go into the field of computer animation and not just for the money that can be gained but because you love the thought of making art on a computer. Unfortunately, this is not just a field you can jump into without a degree even if you have the extraordinary artistic talent of computer animation.

The good news is that you can earn a degree and be on your way to doing your dream job in sometimes under a year.

Animation Degrees

Not all computer animation degrees are alike. If you want a two-year education, you can get an Associate of Arts Degree or an Associate of Science Degree in animation programming. If you want a four-year education, you can get a Bachelor of Arts Degree or a Bachelor of Science Degree in computer animation. Beyond that, there are varying specialties within each of these degrees available at each college. For example, some of the most popular specialties are graphic animation, website animation, and video game animation.
